New state, new house, new jobs...

So much has happened in the last 5 months, I won't even begin to elaborate. The title of the post basically says it all:

- We moved from Minnesota to Wisconsin (both where we grew up)
- We both got new jobs
- We bought a new house in Wisconsin (after living in an apartment temporarily[NEVER doing that again by the way]).

First off, the house. We probably looked at about 14 houses and then found the.one. It was so similar to our house in Minnesota we couldn't pass it up. We loved our home in Minnesota; it just wasn't in the right state. The house is slightly smaller than our old house, but we still have lots of space. The front formal dining room won't have any formal dinners in the near future as it is serving as the toy room. The best part is the kitchen and the 0.75 acre lot. Lots of yard, though it is still a big dirt lot (or sandbox as my niece referred it as), we are hoping to get sod within the next month and also a patio and driveway (no concrete either when we moved).

Here are some pics:

We do have a stove/oven and fridge now too.

A little behind...

Ok, so I really need to update my blog a little more, don't I?

So much has happened in the last few months, that I won't even beging to write about it.

First off, I need to change the title of this blog since we are no longer badgers in Minnesota. Yes, we are badgers in the place we want and need to be...Wisconsin. Home.

Second, we have different jobs and the little gal has certainly grown past 2 1/2 years! Need to update those sidebars.

Third, unfortunately, you will never get to see pictures of our master bathroom. It was beautiful, let me tell you that. I loved it, but of course we sold that home and it is no longer "our" master bathroom.

Right now we are living in luxury in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment. We are in search of a home, but this time of year not much is on the market and well, who wants to put a house up for sale around Christmas time unless you really have to. We are hoping to find something after the new year so we can have more space.

Right now we are thankful for a roof over our heads, jobs, a good preschool and the fact that family and friends are so very close by.

Here are some recent pictures (ok, from October) of events/fun times:

Julia's Third Birthday! Ariel/Princess themed of course

Bouncy Castle at her birthday! Yes, we spoiled her, but mostly because of the huge transition we knew was yet to come with moving and changing homes. Look at that nice big house...oh, I miss space. Ahem, back to the pictures.

Birthday cake!

Halloween Party at Preschool (one of her last parties there) :(

Wow! May was the last post!

So sorry to my fellow readers...all 4-5 of you! :)

Wildtree business has been taking off like crazy. Evidently, Wildtree isn't well known in the Twin Cities and there are many people wanting to try it! Business is good and the aformentioned fact definitely helps the business.

Juggling full-time work and the Wildtree business hasn't been too bad. I try to make sure I am not doing work during Julia's awake hours, so basically after 8pm on a few nights I am doing Wildtree work and then there are the occasional tastings on the weekdays. I try to do only 3 to a max of 4 per month. Usually only need 1-2 nights a week to keep up with the rest and then the rest is, well, rest time.

This fall we may enroll Julia in some tumbling/gymnastics classes just like her cousin Ainsley and of course we will continue the swimming lessons. Julia is such a fish; she LOVES the water. Yes, that is a big LOVE of water. Give her a pool and she will stay in it for hours! We went to a pool party a few weeks ago hosted by a doctor I work with. We arrived at 3pm and she was in the pool immediatly and didn't come out until I had to force her out to leave at 6pm. She wouldn't even come out to eat! Yup, a fish and a big water lover...takes after her mother.

I will seriously try to post pictures of our finished master bathroom that, yes, we had painted in February. Again, sorry for the major delay.

Hopefully more posts to come...
